Owlcrate Unboxing: Through The Enchanted Forest

Bookishunboxing2

Hello Fellow Bookworms!

Today I have an unboxing for Owlcrate’s November box: Through The Enchanted Forest. This is probably one of my favorite boxes they have ever done because the colors are just beautiful! Next month will have a booksleeve in it so I am also excited for that!

My favorite item would have to be the blanket. I may not like the fandom for it but the colors and design are beautiful! At least it doesn’t really scream The Cruel Prince.

My least favorite item would have to be the planner stickers. I am sure they will somehow end up in my daughter’s hand and honestly, I’m just not much of a decorater when it comes to my planners.

Dreamy & Co Unboxing: Catalyst And Chaos

Bookishunboxing2

Hello Readers!

I am here with another unboxing. The October 2019 theme was called “Catalyst and Chaos”. It was themed around The Illuminae Files. Dreamy & Co is the same owner that runs Flick the Wick. This box is just smaller and only costs around $25 shipped. I have never been disappointed because the artwork is always amazing.

My favorite item was the art print of the characters. I have collected every piece I can of them because they are some of my favorite characters! Definitely one of my top book series.

My least favorite item was the socks. The design is great but I just don’t like getting socks in boxes. Sometimes they just end up fitting weird.

Flick the Wick Unboxing: Once Upon A Faerie Dream

Bookishunboxing2

Hello Lovely Readers!

Today I have a great unboxing for you as this might be my favorite box Flick the Wick has done. This was the October 2019 box called “Once Upon A Faerie Dream”. They included books that had fae. One of those fandoms being A Court of Thorns and Roses. The items in it were awesome and even though it was a week late, I think it was worth it. (They also are not in a habit of shipping late and this has been the one case for me)itemheader2

  • Candles: The Iron Realm, Kiaran Mackay, Winter Solstice in Prythian, Autumnlands
  • Acotar Enamel Pin (@dreamyandco)
  • Iron Fey Throw Blanket (@stellabookishart)
  • Throne of Glass Enamel Mug (@eviebookish)
  • Acotar Book Pouch (@bxromance and @stellabookishart)
  • 2x Double-Sided Sturdy Print (@morgana0anagrom and @dreamyandco)

My favorite item was the blanket. It is very soft! I also really like the design of it. Plus, since it is getting colder around here it’s perfect.

My least favorite item was probably the pouch. I do the the artwork on it but it’s just a cinch pouch with no padding so I wouldn’t think it would be a great book pouch.

Flick the Wick Unboxing: Investigating The White City

Bookishunboxing2

Hello Lovely Readers!

Today I am sharing an unboxing for Flick the Wick’s September box: Investigating The White City. For the theme, it was all based around the Stalking Jack the Ripper series. Although I didn’t like the last book, I still liked the series as a whole. This is a candle box company that I have really enjoyed. I have bought a few of their boxes now and am excited for the October one to ship since it will have a blanket!

Included In This Box:

  • Mr. Cresswell Candle (4 oz. glass jar)
  • Miss Wadsworth Candle (2 oz. glass jar)
  • The Streets of London and Bran Castle Candles (2 oz. tin)
  • Enamel Pin (@dreamyandco)
  • Drawstring Backpack (@eviebookish)
  • Tumbler (@dreamyandco)
  • Wooden Bookmark (@dreamyandco)
  • RMS Etruria Bath Bomb (Ritzybath)
  • Notepad (@dreamyandco)
  • Double-Sided Sturdy Print (@taratjah and @dreamyandco)

My favorite item had to be the art print of Audrey and Thomas. It has been my favorite depiction of them. My least favorite would have  to be the bath bomb. I just don’t take baths so it isn’t practical for me.

The Bookish Box: May Unboxing

bookish unboxing

Hello, Bookworms!

I am back with another unboxing! I know the ones I have been doing are from a month or two ago but I am playing catch up. Hopefully you all don’t mind too much, ha.

Today I am sharing The Bookish Box from May. This was my first monthly crate from them but I have purchased other boxes from them. Overall, I have liked some or all of the items included.

In this particular one, There were a few things I didn’t care for because I just wouldn’t use them such as the wallet, keychain, and ring. When it comes to jewelery I have to be careful because it will turn me green!

My favorite item was the shirt which is the main reason I purchased this box. I love Prythian and this shirt is just so gorgeous!

I did get the option with no book and so that is why there is no photo of it.

There you have it! If you like what you see then definitely check them out!

LitJoy Crate: May 2019 Unboxing

Hello, Bookworms!

Today I am doing an unboxing. I haven’t done one for awhile because 1.) been spending less and 2.) I always forget to take photos before I start to sell off items that weren’t for me or put them away in my office. It’s a lot of work to try and remember what came from a box!

The LitJoy Crate May Box was pretty great. I boguht it specifically for the artists that were involved in making the pieces because they are two of my favorite artists, Salome Totladze and Noverantale.

My favorite piece has to be the pot holders. Hades looks amazing! Although I am thinking I will use them as mug rugs instead or hang one on my wall because its just too pretty to use in the kitchen. I haven’t read the book yet but hopefully soon!

Flick the Wick: December Unboxing

Hello, fellow book lovers!

Today I will be showing you the December Flick the Wick box which was themed around the An Ember in the Ashes series. I just recently finished the third book and was crushed!

If you have read this series, let me know what you thought of it.

My favorite item in this box was the pin followed by the print. I loved the artwork and can’t wait to add it to my wall where I already have a tapestry of them hanging.

My least favorite item would have been the mug. The design on it is stunning but it was put on a white mug and so it just doesn’t match with the background of the design. I also wasn’t a fan of the socks or the compact mirror that was included.

Overall, it was a decent box but I was a little disappointed with some of the items included since I have seen a few of their other boxes that were amazing. It was my first box from them and I am not sure if I will purchase again. Only time will tell!

BookishStarDesigns Magical Beasts Unboxing

Hello, fellow book lovers!

I am back with another unboxing and this time it is for one of my favorite shops called BookishStarDesigns! In the summer Laura started to do quarterly rice bag boxes and my sister has purchased them all, but we shared her fall one and she gifted me the winter box for Christmas! (Seriously, best sister ever!) Laura always outdoes herself with each box and the prints she picks are gorgeous. If you aren’t sure what rice bags are used for my sister has compiled a list of uses that you can find over on her blog! For the winter box, it contained a large and medium rice bag, eye mask rice bag, and a small bag of loose leaf tea which my daughter took the sticker off of. I went with scented but you can get unscented as well. These boxes make perfect gifts or a nice starter pack for yourself. Her next one will go on sale February/March and I cannot wait!

December Unicorn Crate Unboxing

 Hello, fellow book lovers!

Today’s post will be a book box unboxing which is a little different than what I usually post. I have bought a few book boxes this year from different companies. They are all unique in their own way and what items they include because of the artwork that is on them. I have liked each one I have received, some more than others, but overall they are a fun surprise to open. I hope you enjoy this style of post.

One reason why I bought this box was for the booksleeve. I have been obsessing over unicorns lately and it was one item they revealed as included in the box. Another item that was awesome was the tapestry of Asha and Kozu from The Last Namsara. I still have yet to read it, its been on my kindle for awhile, but I have it written down for my January TBR and I can’t wait to dive in! Another great thing about book boxes is that they always come with a book and a signed bookplate or an actual signed book. They are great to add to your collection if you are into that. Overall, this was one of my favorite boxes and I can’t wait to share some more unboxings with you all!
