March 2021 Monthly Wrap-Up

Hello Lovely Readers!

March was an intense month for me!

I did get reading done and a lot of it was arcs but I am still drowning in them, haha. It’s definitely what I will be focusing on again in April.

I did play some World of Warcraft but not as much as usual. I go through phases of wanting to play and then taking weeks off. It is what it is.

We bought a new car though! It’s a 2019 Hyundai Elantra and so different from our 1999 Honda Civic. I will get to take it for a spin as we drive an hour and a half to his family’s this weekend. Pretty excited that it will take less gas than my Honda CR-V as I like to go vroom vroom. 🤣

We got some bad news about my husband’s college graduating date though. He won’t graduate until next May instead of this December because his advisor didn’t tell him two of his business classes count towards his degree but not the hours required. It doesn’t make sense and would have been nice to know before as my husband talks to him every semester. It is what it is. That’s my new motto lately.

Other than that, I got to see my sister and dad as they brought our new car to us. It was a great a visit and hopefully soon I will get to see the rest of my family soon. I miss my mom but I at least call her everyday (sometimes 5 times 🤣) because I may be an adult but I still need her advise.

This month I managed to read 17 books, 16 mangas and listened to 3 audiobooks.

36 books in total!

My favorite book of the month was  Southern Sun, Northern Star (Glass Alliance #3) by Joanna Hathaway! It was a grea, tear-filled ending to this trilogy.

My least favorite was  These Hollow Vows by Lexi Ryan. I just had a lot of issues with it.

    1. Yeah it’s a sucky situation but just trying to look at the positives even if it’s hard. 😅 Thank you! ❤️

  1. Looks like you had a great reading month! Inuyasha is such a blast from the past for me as it has been years since I read the manga and should reread them. Sucks for your hubby as it is the worst when you aren’t told all the correct details for graduating. Hope everything stays on track and he graduates next May. 😀

    1. I never finished Inuyasha back in the day so I’m glad I finally got to it! Yeah it does put a damper on things. I’m just thinking about the positives! 😅

  2. Ah, sorry to hear that news about your hubby! How weird that the advisor didn’t talk about how many hours it’d take to graduate and only mention it now! 🤔 I love your positive mentality about it though, Joanna! Looks like you had a really great month of reading 😍 I hope you have an amazing April!

    1. Yeah it doesn’t make sense on the advisor’s part. Haha thanks! Sometimes it’s hard to be positive but to be continuously stressed about it won’t change the outcome. 😅 it was great and hopefully I will read more amazing books in April! I have high hopes for a few.

I’m sorry to hear about your husband’s college graduating date, that advisor really messed up. It sucks!

    1. I am a stay-at-home mom so I have a lot time to read. A lot of this reading was mangas so they are on the shorter side.
