Weekly Update (10/24/20)

Hello Lovely Bookworms!

This week has been like every other week, haha.

Every time I leave my house for errands on Wednesday, there is always something that makes it take longer. First world problems, I know. 😂

My sister also found out on Thursday that she has Covid. I live in a different state as my family so we’re okay. She at least gets some sort of pay from her work for the two weeks she has to quarantine but for my mom, who she lives with, she won’t since she is self-employed as a house cleaner. At least they are doing okay. My sister says for her its just been like a cold. I’m glad it hasn’t been worse.

I feel like lately I focus on the negative more than the positive. There is definitely a lot to be grateful for and I need to remember that.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and stay safe. ❤

    1. Thank you! Yeah, they usually just went out for regular errands like groceries and went to work. They’ve followed all guidelines too. 😔 at least it hasn’t been bad for her.

  1. Oh my, I hope your sister doesn’t suffer too badly from it and that she recovers soon!! Hope everyone else in your family stays well, too! With all the negative energy it’s so easy to focus on the negative but you’re right, there’s so much still to be grateful for! Have a great weekend and week ahead, Joanna ❤️

    1. Me too! It could be a lot worse. That’s great your school hasn’t had any issues. It makes it hard to not know what will happen day-by-day because anything can change with this virus.

  3. Sorry to hear about your sister and mom. My best to them for a full recovery and no major loss of income. I’m a small business owner too, and keeping it Covid-free is a daily struggle and constant worry. The public tends to stay away (understandably) once they get word that your business was infected. Thank you for liking my recent post about my short story. Stay safe and healthy.

    1. Yeah, it’s definitely a struggle and there are a lot of guidelines to follow. Hopefully my mom won’t have many issues with her clients after the 14 day period. It’s an interesting world we live in at the moment. You’re welcome! I hope you stay safe as well.

    1. Thank you! ❤ it’s definitely been hard for them but at least my brother wasn’t around them so he can take stuff and leave it outside their house.
