Weekly Update (7/26/20)

Hello Lovely Bookworms!

I didn’t do one of these last weekend because I was out of town visiting my husband’s mom. It was a nice break from reality since she lives in the country. My daughter enjoyed her time and it breaks my heart whenever she has to say goodbye because she is like me and is quite emotional. But alas, it is back to the self-quarantine life.

This week was pretty crappy and every day felt like a Monday. I’ve just been putting on tons of stress-relief lotion and continuing on, haha.

As for reading, it’s mainly just been audiobooks. It’s easy to pop one on and I find it harder to concentrate on an actual book. I am hoping to actually sit down and read today after this because I do need to get through arcs.

I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend. ❤

Blog Posts From This Week:

Books Finished This Week:

  • Heart Sister by Michael F. Stewart (arc/ebook)
  • Gathering Darkness by Morgan Rhodes (audiobook)
  • 500 Miles From You by Jenny Colgan (audiobook)
  • The Switch by Beth O’Leary (arc/audiobook)
  • Blood of Elves (audiobook)

I know on WWW Wednesday I said I was going to read The Princess Will Save You by Sarah Henning but I just couldn’t get into it so I dnfed it. I just don’t think the author is for me and that’s okay.

Currently Reading:

  • Frozen Tides by Morgan Rhodes (audiobook)
  • A Dance with Fate by Juliet Marillier (arc/ebook)

  1. A Dance With Fate looks so good! I’m currently reading Book 2 in the Starbound trilogy, This Shattered World. Hoping to finish it tonight!
