I have been tagged by Andrew @ On My Bookshelf for this! He is also the creator of this new blogger award! Props to him. 😁👌
Water. Earth. Fire. Air. I’ve heard stories about the old days, a time of peace when the Avatar Blogger kept balance between the Water Critics, Earth Reviewers, Fire Writers, and Air Readers. But that all changed when the Fire Writers attacked.
Only the Avatar Blogger, master of all four blogging elements could stop the ruthless Fire Writers. But when the world needed them the most, they vanished. A hundred years have passed, and the Fire Writers are nearing victory in the war.
Some people believe that the Avatar Blogger was never reborn into the Air Readers, and that the cycle is broken. But I haven’t lost hope. I still believe that somehow, the Avatar Blogger will return to save the book world!
How to become the Avatar Blogger:
- To become the Avatar Blogger and save the book world from the Fire Writer Lord, the Avatar Blogger must master all four elements.
- To master an element, a blogger must be tagged in one of the four following tags: Book of Water, Book of Earth, Book of Fire, Book of Air.
- Once a blogger has posted all four tags to their page, they can message the Order of the White Lotus (@onmybookshelff) on twitter to receive the Avatar Blogger Award. (Not first come first serve. Everyone can get the award!)

1.) Of all the nations in the Avatar world, the Earth Kingdom is the largest in size.
What are your three largest books?
I would have to say my three largest books would be Brisingr and Inheritance by Christopher Paolini, and probably Heart of Flames by Nicki Pau Preto. But, my small pocket size Game of Thrones series is probably up there to.
2.) Ba Sing Se, the capital of the Earth Kingdom, has absolutely beautiful walls that have stood the test of time.
What book would you leave buried in a time capsule, to be opened by someone you don’t know 30 years from now?
This is a tough question! I have so many options floating in my head but the one that sticks out the most would be Twilight.
Now, some may be asking why I would pick that if I picked it apart the last time I read it. Well, the more I think about it the more I enjoyed how trash it was. 😂 I want people to experience it for themselves.
3.) Citizens of the Earth Reviewers are recognized by their green attire.
Share some of your books that have a green cover.
4.) Though many people of the Earth Reviewers live in large cities, a lot of its citizens are migratory people.
What book did you DNF the quickest, and why did you give up on it?
I have been dnfing more lately, oops. It is what it is. Most are before 10% because I just don’t want to struggle unless others say it gets better.
I dnfed To Have and to Hoax by Martha Waters pretty quickly. I just didn’t like the characters. I’m sure you’re not supposed but I just couldn’t.
5.) Any Avatar or Earth Reviewer would be honored to be taught by Toph, the creator of metal bending, and close friend to Avatar Aang.
Which author, dead or alive, would you love to sit down with for a meal?
I would love to have tea with C.S. Lewis. I feel like he could teach me a lot of things and there are questions I would like to ask him about his work.
6.) Earth Reviewing relies on standing strong and outlasting your opponent, looking for the perfect moment to strike.
What is one book you had on your TBR on too long, and you wish you had read sooner?
Hmm, that’s a tough one. There are many that sit on my tbr for years. I’m terrible at this. I think I would have to go with A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir. I remember reading An Ember in the Ashes and loving it but I didn’t continue on right away but man! That series is amazing.
7.) Iroh, a friend to the Avatar and one of the wisest men you’ll meet referred to the Earth as the element of substance.
If you were skilled at making one thing, whether its artsy, music related, or more home improvement focused, what would it be?
I would love to be skilled at embroidery or cross-stitching. I have done it but sometimes it just isn’t the prettiest, haha. Some people are just very skilled at it and I want to be too!
If you have made it this far, then you have mastered the element of Earth, bringing you one step closer to becoming the Avatar Blogger. Good luck to you in your training.
